Technological developments lead to changes in health services and increase the quality and effectiveness of nursing care. The integration of information systems, artificial intelligence and robotics in nursing practice is becoming increasingly widespread to improve the quality of patient care, support clinical decision processes and optimize workload. In this review article, the areas of use of information technologies, artificial intelligence applications and robot-assisted systems in nursing care are discussed comprehensively. In particular, the role of electronic health records, telehealth services and clinical decision support systems in nursing practice is examined. In addition, artificial intelligence based decision support systems, the contribution of virtual simulations to nursing education and the advantages of robot-assisted care applications are evaluated in detail. In order for the nursing profession to adapt to this digital transformation, increasing technological literacy and the ability of nurses to use these systems effectively stand out as a critical necessity. In conclusion, innovative approaches in nursing care are important in increasing scientific knowledge in nursing, improving the quality of care and reducing care costs. It is necessary for nurses to think with an innovative perspective and put them into practice in order to create an effective innovation culture.
